The Wildlife Mexico Chapter TWS A C (WMCH), in collaboration with academic and research institutions, conservation organizations, governmental agencies, and national and international organizations committed to wildlife management and conservation, invites undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, professors, technicians, consultants, wildlife managers, and the general public to participate in the:

THIRD NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION

OBJECTIVE

To promote the exchange of scientific knowledge, management experience, technological tools, and conservation strategies that contribute to the management and sustainable use of wildlife and its habitat, while strengthening collaboration among the academia, the government, conservation organizations, and the productive sector.

BACKGROUND

The National Conference on Wildlife Management and Conservation is one of Mexico’s leading specialized forums for scientific exchange, professional training, and student development in wildlife science. The first two editions, held in 2018 and 2019, brought together approximately 1,000 participants from more than 70 institutions across 19 Mexican states. Their success was internationally recognized by The Wildlife Society through the 2020 Group Achievement Award.

Call for Abstracts

Students, researchers, and professionals are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

Abstracts must follow the editorial guidelines available at https://twsmexicochapter.com/conferences and be submitted through the corresponding email

Outstanding student contributions will be eligible for awards and academic recognition.
